Closing up the year and Happy 2026!

Home / Uncategorized Closing up the year and Happy 2026!

I always enjoy looking back over the year as it comes to a close. There is so much to be thankful for, blessings that have come our way and so many new thoughts and ideas that are triggered from the review.

I am an “analog” guy…meaning I still take notes, keep calendars, and plan my time using paper and pencil. I use the computer for a lot, but when it comes to planning and recording my time I’m still “old school”. Ready back thru calendar and notes is fun and lets you relive a lot of activities… thinking back on the week all of the grandskids were here and the time spent in the pool.

Lots has happened in 2025. I am on the down hill trajectory of my career toward retirement. After forty years in the Aerospace industry I am stepping away and focusing on beekeeping, gardening and Grandkids! My planned retirement is the end of March 2026 which coincides nicely with both the bees and the garden. March is a busy time to split hives and planting early gardens.
